And to the edge

The end of my job is near. I have endured more than I ever thought I would when I began. Even yesterday was enough to make me break down and cry in front of a crowd.
The lack of manners in the world is a really depressing thought. Please be kind.

I am sorry I haven't been loyal to my dream journal. Sometimes they are too detailed and complicated for others to understand.

I did have a rather simple one the other day. I somehow ended up in a car with a middle aged lady. We were in Alabama and driving in her Taurus. It was a clear Fall day and the radio was on low. I remember watching the passing cars and making small talk with the lady. She was heading home from work and she was unsure of where she lived. Yet, she was familiar with the route she took everyday. She could not recall where we were heading. No knowledge of the state or what town she lived in, but I continued to stay in the car. We were without a GPS and there were very few signs on the road. When we did see a sign with our current location, we were unable to read it because we were driving too fast. I began to feel a little flustered without a solid destination. I was actually trying to get to Mississippi. Time keeps ticking and we finally realized we were in Central Tennessee. I told her, 'Thanks for the ride, but I have to go to Mississippi." So we said a brief goodbye and I woke up.

This says so much about what point I am at in my life right now. I just want to go home, wherever that may be.

On this episode of WhoDaThunkIt?

Did you know that you could become a Vice President, Executive Vice President or CEO by just being a pushover? Neither did I, until today.

Today's Life Title:

Don't be offended if I hate you today.

This is what I wanted to listen to on the way home from work:

And then I had to be escorted to my car at Burger King because they were in the process of calling the cops on folks outside. Lovely end to my day.

Brief

This is a brief post because I don't really feel like entertaining anyone right now.

I have made some rather extravagant plans with Ole Kippy. Trips to the a bowl game (possibly the Chick-fil-a Bowl), Ireland for St. Patrick's day and last but not least, Austin, TX. Her friends Mobley invited us to visit and check out their show. We are big time dreamers (Cancers). So it is completely up in the air if any of this will actually happen.

At this moment, yes, RIGHT NOW. Check out the song 'Seven Summers' by Mobley. If you wake up singing a song, it has to be great. Right?
